I have a HTC Rezound by Verizon, its a 4g smartphone and don't know which security / virus/malware protection is ok ? Any suggestions? Help!!!

I am on verizon now. It's an individual plan. I want unlimited texting and 3g of data. I also would like to have a 4g smartphone. Any ideas about what the best plan is? I've looked into AT&T and US Cellular. Any idea would be suggested. I also don't want a janky plan that will only work within 5 miles of my town! THANKS!
